Is SEO worth it for a small business?
Here is one real case. An AI named our client first 33 hours after our first change.
Every AI answer is dated, from 10 to 19 September 2026. Google's words were read on 29 September. AI answers move, so treat this as one case.

Google first has to find the pages and read them. Here is how long each step takes, in Google's words.

How long does SEO take to update on Google?
An edit shows once Google reads the page again. You can ask Google to do that in Search Console, one page at a time.
Google adds: Requesting a crawl does not guarantee that inclusion in search results will happen instantly or even at all.
