What CIDB says about renovation work

CIDB's words: all contractors whether local or foreign must register with the Malaysian Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) under Section 25 of Act 520, except those exempted under Section 40(1).

Act 520 counts renovation, alteration and repair of any building as construction works. CIDB says a conviction under Section 29 carries a fine of RM 10,000 to RM 100,000.

CIDB gradeGovernment building works, per contract
G1RM 200,000 and below
G2RM 200,001 to RM 500,000
G3RM 500,001 to RM 1 million
G4RM 1 million to RM 3 million
G5RM 3 million to RM 5 million

From CIDB's Jadual L, the limits for government works. Your grade tells a homeowner the size of job you are cleared for. Put it on your site and your profile.

Where Dijumpai fits

Interior design marketing, checked every month

Step 6 is our job. Each month we ask Google, ChatGPT and three more engines what your homeowners ask. For example, "renovation contractor Penang" and "interior design Penang". You see who is named, and whether it is you.

Then we make one fix a month to your listings, reviews or pages, and we check again. Each month you get the dated answer, the fix, and the next read. Google decides the rank; we work on what it reads.

We take one renovation firm per city. The price is RM 1,200 a month, the 2026 founding price. Compare it with 16 Malaysian agencies' published prices, or see how we work for renovation and interior firms.
