The KKLIU question

Which pages need a KKLIU?

Some pages offer to treat a condition and ask the patient to book. The law calls that an advertisement (Medicines Act 1956, section 4A). It needs approval from the Medicine Advertisements Board. The KKLIU number and its expiry then go on the page.

Most clinics need three kinds of page. Two of them go up today.

Five steps, all inside the rules

How a dental clinic gets named by the AI

1

Complete your Google listing

Name, address, hours, services and contact, the same facts a directory carries (MAB guideline 6.4). Add real photos of the clinic.

2

Ask every patient for a review

Ask every patient, in the same words. Google's rules bar gifts for reviews and asking only happy patients.

3

One page per treatment you offer

Plain words on what it is, who it suits and the fee. A booking button on it needs your KKLIU.

4

The same name everywhere

Your clinic name, address and phone spelled the same on Google, your site and every directory. The AI trusts a name it sees agree.

5

Ask the AI every month

Type "best dental clinic in [your city]" into ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. Write down who it names. That is your score.

Who the AI names today: Penang · Ipoh · Kuala Lumpur · Johor Bahru · Petaling Jaya · Shah Alam · Melaka · Seremban · Kuching · Kota Kinabalu, read by Dijumpai.

What dental clinics ask us

What dental clinics ask us

Does my dental clinic's website need a KKLIU?
Only the pages that offer a treatment and ask the patient to book. The law calls those advertisements (Medicines Act 1956, section 4A). They need approval from the Medicine Advertisements Board, and the KKLIU number goes on them. A listing page and an article that only explains a treatment need no approval.
Can a dental clinic say it is the best in Malaysia?
Keep it off your own pages. The MAB guideline for clinics bars superlatives such as terbaik, pertama and paling maju, and the MDC guidelines bar laudatory terms. What gets you named by the AI is reviews, listings and pages that answer patients' questions.
Can I show patient reviews on my clinic website?
Keep testimonials off any page that promotes a treatment or takes bookings: the MAB guideline bars them there. Your Google reviews live on Google, which is where patients and the AI read them. Ask every patient, in the same words.
How much does SEO cost for a dental clinic in Malaysia?
Most Malaysian agencies charge RM 1,500 to RM 3,000 a month. Dijumpai is RM 1,200 a month, one dental clinic per city, with the price published.
